I respect the opinion, but the idea isn't for "us" to be on television. The idea is to get a SportsCenter type of program on weekly. Right now, this is just showing the wrestling community we have the knowledge to put out the information. This isn't the format "Wrestling 411" is going to take hold, this is just the video version of our weekly radio show. I don't feel I'm arrogant, but I guess that's all in one's perception. I love this sport and want it to be on par with the other mainstream events.

This isn't about "us," it's about the sport itself. Studio sets, highlights, guests, the whole kit and kaboodle. That takes money and this is where our fundraising efforts are key. Wrestling needs to support its own self before networks will even begin to support it.
The "paper" comments confuse me, because it's observational.
As far as intelligent ex-wrestlers, there are many out there, but where are they in broadcasting? Not too many get into broadcasting to start with. Ideally, I wouldn't want to be the "lead" for this project, because I'm stronger in other elements of broadcasting and journalism. Right now, this is what we're providing during our fundraising efforts to show the ability and knowledge is there. But this all costs money. The support of the wrestling community is vital, but to even get basketball and football fans to tune in "Between" games, we have to show there's a demand for it.
Feel free to e-mail me directly, because arrogance isn't the angle we're going for, wrestling's my life and has been what I've enjoyed covering and writing for over 10 years. My e-mail is ... and I'd prefer to have a dialogue with people who leave their name. I listen to all viewer/listener feedback.
Thanks,
JB

i would like to see wrestling on television and some quality interviews but honestly i don't see myself or any majority of wrestling fans viewing in every week for these two guys. Jason Bryant seems to be very arrogant about things and their knowledge seems to be all paper. To get a talk show on television we would need some intelligent ex-wrestlers that had quality careers and have the ability to promote the sport to new fans. Maybe get basketball and football fans to tune in in between basketball games.

Wrestling 411: April 7

April 8, 2009
Wrestling 411’s Jason Bryant and Kyle Klingman returned to the studio on Tuesday where the pair were joined by Division III championship coach Jim Miller of Wartburg College and assistant wrestling coach from THE Ohio State State University, Tommy Rowlands. Miller talked about the Knights’ seventh NCAA Division III Championship, the ups, the downs and the rivalry with Augsburg. With the U.S. Open on the horizon, Rowlands spoke heavily about the Ohio Regional Training Center, for which he’s carrying the torch. We’ll bring Tommy back on Thursday to finish his interview and start talking about Ohio State’s season after back-to-back runner-up finishes.
