That was a good match. Going to be interesting to see if they match up in college. In my opinion Goree should have been hit for stalling way earlier in the match. He attempted no offense and was backing out the whole time! There are many ways to counter a guy on one knee and snapping him into a front headlock is the easiest.

i can tell u guys this for who ever is talkin bad on goree. maybe the colorado kid was smarter than goree this match by takin away gorees offense. but goree will b a better college wrestler bc of this match. askren wrestled like that but he made it work. this kid is no askren. for who ever is makin the haha replys bout dogg. seems to me that goree has already handed u an ass whoopin this! would u like another? goree i hope u stick with it bc i think ur gonna do great at the college level. to the haha replier exactly wat is good tech from ur point of view. ne one who has been around wrestlin long enough knws that if u make it to the finals at sr nationals ur tech is good enough to get u there.
I watched this dude from Colorado through the whole tournament. This was the first time he wrestled on his knee and I am 99% sure he decided to do this to make up for that height difference because all of Gorees takedowns were to the advantage of his shortness. So its hard to have "good technique" when you switch your style up for one match and no real time to practice it. Goree looked good the whole tournament too, he just never had anybody lower than him.
dog had him beat that kid sucks compared to goree but things happen i guess that takedown and two back points cost him the match. Was Goree winning the whole match till right there at the end?
