i believe the ncwa is growing rapidly. the line between ncaa divisions 2 and 3, naia, and the ncwa is getting thinner. division 1 is head and shoulders above the rest obviously...

One more quick note. No these guys are not wrestling on the level of D1 athletes but not so much from lack of skill. Scholarships at this level do not exist. Therefore many of these kids are going to school, and holding down a full time job while trying to find time to make it into the room. The fact that they love wrestling enough to keep doing it and to represent our sport is enough for applause.

UCF may not have the strength this year they have in the past but heres a few things. D3... I wish people like you would go to another sport because cutting down ANY division of wrestling in the country does nothing but injure the sport that everyone here loves. Your basing what you think of NCWA on one (terrible) match. Ive been with UCF when weve beat D3 schools in the past. And besides...D3? your basically just a walk on like the ncwa guys anyway. Take a trip down to Fl, stop running your mouth and Ill show you how a NCWA wrestler does it.

I'm doing voice-overs on all the matches I have on tape. Here's the situation: Martin Flo couldn't make the tournament this year; so he called me and asked me to shoot for him. Since I was coaching all tournament, I had whichever guys on my team weren't about to wrestle shoot some matches. I'm uploading them all and adding commentary. I just added Von Ohlen and Giordano's quarterfinals wins as well.

It really is remarkable the difference between NCWA wrestling and NCAA wrestling. I wrestle 149 for a D3 school, a back-up freshman, and a match with these guys wouldn't even be funny.

these kids are in wrestling clubs instead of true college wrestling teams. If they had real skill or talent, they would be wrestling in one of the REAL college championship events. Club sports are for high school has beens and also rans .

Luke, your commentary is hilarious.... obviously a voice-over as you must have been in the coaches corner during the original match. Your acting teacher should be ashamed... :)
