Why would a grown man get on here and hate on some high school kids. I mean be serious, these 2 kids are very highly touted wrestlers and will be a factor in Division 1 ncaa wrestling in the near future. When 2 kids have wrestled so many times and know each other so well it is tough, hard to get anything going since the other knows what the oppennent likes to do. Oklahoma wrestling has great tradition, we just lack a huge population like new jersey. some of the best ever are from OK. Quit hating on kids u loser. good tough match by 2 tough kids.

That match was horrid. These 2 wrestlers were slow and demonstrated no moves whatsoever. I thought Balfour had a reputation as a rising star.....at lower weight. These 2 wrestlers would not get anywhere in the New Jersey states.
number one, my son, Ronnie Balfour is a great and outstanding wrestler. number two, there are so many college scouting him, we can not keep up. and i know Zach has to have just as many scouting him and a 10Th grader. do not talk about my son nor Zach because they are both great wrestlers!!.

i notice you did not mention your son or your accomplishments. and if you or you son had great accomplishments on the mat, that's great. but i do know you did not win them all and had, as you put it "horrid" matches.
both Ronnie and Zach did outstanding jobs. they both know they can not win them all. and if you noticed at the end win Zach won, Ronnie was was mad at himself but at the same time, happy for Zach and gave him a big hug. because they are friends on and off the mat.
and if you think that just because my son did not win state that he is not going anywhere, you must be stupid!!. ... i look for Zach and Ronnie both to do great things on and off the mat. .... p.s...... Ronnie came in 2ND and Zach 3rd at Fargo. and the winner was from Illinois, so where was new jersey?.....

I beat Ronnie the week before at regionals when there was nothing wrong with his knee. I know he might not of been 100%, but I still beat him. No disrespect to Ronnie because he is a phenomenal wrestler and one of my good friends. We have both beaten top wrestlers from all over the country before and we WILL continue to do so. One more thing, this match looks slow and boring, but that his how two good wrestlers wrestle sometimes. It's a lot of positioning and defense and just waiting for the perfect opportunity to score. Just my two cents.

balfour was wrestling with a torn mcl...you try wrestling with that and see if your still fast as usual. dumbass. theyre both great wrestlers with national success. "wrestling dad"...your son probably got beat by them so your just a little jealous man up and quit talking about kids theyd probably whoop you anyways.

Every one knows that championship matches are conservative? You must have not been around the sport of wrestling for very long?? Zach has won and placed at multiple National tournaments(Tulsa Nationals, placed at Fargo 2 years in a row, been on 2 Oklahoma National Freestyle Championship teams(Schoolboy 2006 & Cadet 2008), etc.-look it up) and has wrestled several kids over his 12 year career from New Jersey and has beat them. So not sure what you are talking about? Ronnie placed second at Fargo last year and was on the same 2 Oklahoma Championship teams? They both would fair very well in New Jersey. They are both stars!
