ok yes i know corey and creed both are not what most people would call great wrestlers but creed and corey both through out there wrestling carrer has beat state champions or kids who went on to be state champions in pa and other states and people say nc wrestling is not up to par with anyone else ill agree i wrestle in divsion 3 at lycoming college and tis tough but i am starting and i never placed at states also missouri last year had a kid from new burn nc rape tons of kids in college and there are nc guys from uncg app and other schools that jsut rape guys so saying they could never when a pa state title is a little dumb i live here in pa and i have shown this video to my buddys here and they all say they would have a good chance to when a title in pa

Corey Mock's only loss this year was to josh kinding, Who lost to david taylor in the finals of Ironman? i believe 1-0. So for you to say he wouldnt win a title anywhere and wouldnt be good is rediculous, and I believe hes a 2/3x all american and placed top 5 at fargo multiple times, oh which by the way has kids from all your little "states that they'd get raped in"

I'm from North Carolina. I've seen the best this state has had to offer. I've seen the John Mark's and Ty's WIN national tourneys. Mock is definitely the more impressive of the two. However, this DID NOT look like a match between two soon-to-be 4Xers. Exactly what was said that made me an idiot? It was simply truthful. I do agree with Sumkid2. It is different down here. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY IT...Mock nor Creed would win a SINGLE state title in PA. Thats not idiotic. thats the truth!

First off, congrats to both on their state titles. However, neither one of them would be state champs in Fl, NJ, NY, PA, OH, CA, or MI. IF i didnt know the names I would think this was a match between two state qualifiers at best. Unless these two improve greatly they will go down as the least impressive 4Xmers in the history of the state. Mock nor Creed wouldn't of lasted past the 1st period with John Mark, Ty Reynolds, or Mike Kendall. Sparrow, Forshey, McKinney, and Bullins would've majored possibly teched both Mock and Creed. I dont mean to take away from their accomplishments, but when you are going to be a 4 Timer and are barely recruited out of state...that says something.

this was a match between two 3timers? that match was absolutely pitiful in comparison to the taylor-palmer match here in ohio. if you guys think these two are national level wrestlers, you are mistaken. david taylor is a national level wrestler, eric grajales is a national level wrestler, collin palmer is a national level wrestler. not these two. i would almost be willing to bet money that neither one ever makes AA in college.

it should be mentioned that all of creed's previous wins were when mock was bumping up one or two weight classes to wrestle him...this is the first time they are the same size

mock has figured creed out, but would still only win 3 outta the next 5 if they were to meet up, just because creed knows mock so well. Mocks potential in college is leaps and bounds over Creeds. Mock keeps improving and Creed seems to have peaked. Mock has the ability and skill to compete with the best on a national level while Creeds skill has him limited to the state of North Carolina. Mock will succeed as a D1 wrestler, Creed will struggle at the D1 level. But we'll probably see him at NC State or Appalachian as an under .500 wrestler.

Corey mock deserves to be higher on the ranking.
i think he is probably the best 135 in the south.
i saw him wrestle at states last year in the finals against my old teammate daniel pipken and he beat him like 8-2. and daniel was an outstanding wrestler.(who now wrestles for uncp) but he deserves more respect than this.

I am the one who posted this video on YouTube. Just wanted to say, I did not post this to highlight Jacob Creed’s loss but to highlight 2 of North Carolina’s Best Wrestlers. Obviously I am a huge Corey supporter but both of these wrestlers Have already accomplished what only a hand full of other wrestlers have by being 3X State Champs and are on the verge of doing what only 6 other wrestlers in NC have done by becoming 4X State Champs. i agree with nc college man. every time i have seen creed wrestle at the national level he gets destroyed. you can even see it when he is wrestling mock when he gets the match brought to him he crumbles under the pressure

What the hell is this?

Jacob Creed is probably the worst (future) 4xer in NC history. He routinely clobbers the competition in NC, but as soon as he steps out of state, he looks like he's never wrestled before. And before the Creed faithful jump on me, I'm not the only person who thinks this, I know two college coaches in NC that told me this was their exact reason for not going after Creed harder. I'm not trying to put Jacob down, but simply stating the obvious. For Creed to get the respect of someone higher that his fellow NCers, he's going to need to start performing (not just showing up) at the national level.
