Too bad Camacho lost. The finals match would have been a lot more exciting. Camacho losing was a fluke

i agree with devos daddy, meis has ruined all challengers this year at 103 and i dont think devos would be any different. in all honesty, meis is just too strong for most 103 pounders in the nation (i mean just look at the kid, he's stacked), and would definatly outmuscle every 8th grader in the country even if it is Devos. Meis killed the 103 field at Reno (teched everybody except two top 10 ranked kids from CA) and Senior Nationals (pinned his quarterfinals opponenet and teched his guy in the semifinals before nearly teching Gendreau 19-5). He teched a very good Co wrestler tony pena in the state semifinals (pena, by the way, just won the NHSCA freshman nationals this year) and in 07 teched his state finals opponent Casey Lynn who isn't too shabby himself. he is no doubt in my mind a top 3 103lber in the country.

to ariel_x its not possible to pin yourself as long as your in control. if u lose control and ur opponent puts ur back to the mat (even if hes not in control) you would probably get pinned

Devos Daddy   April 3, 2008 at 9:19am
This is for college wrestler. For your information this year Meis beat an undefeated freshman named Tony Pena. According to many people Pena was going to wipe the mat with Meis and Meis tech falled Pena. So bring on Devos and Meis can tech fall him to.

tech in first period? I hate Valley and all that they stand for but Mr. Devos is pretty good as an 8th grader I could see him wrestling with these guys. I am no expert but Devos is a beast.

On those tilts, is it possible to pin yourself? (Please no snide remarks) I could swear I've seen that happen in international wrestling.

I bet Eric Devos 8th Grader from Apple Valley, Minnesota could beat them. He is in a league of his own. Already a 2-time state champ.
