Ref would not call the clown for stalling. He was riding his clown bike around while Dong was shooting and chasing him. Dong finally threw a stick in the spokes of his clown bike and it was over.

The problem/ beauty of the scrambles now is that there is not a definitive way of knowing "control". The first scramble Heflin looked in control with possible back points. However, I've seen this position hundreds, nay, thousands of times go the other way in a split second... there in lies the benefit of the defensive scramble position.
As far as "stalling" is concerned, I thought it was a good solid match... Heflin dominated 2/3 of the match, but that throw was SWEEEEET and Dong won the match with a tremendous third period. Thanks for the match guys, toe to toe, balls out. You guys and your performance is why I love this sport.

hmmm anyone ever here of backpoints? wow i am pretty sure i had control way before i got 2 points. haha stalling huh? my bad for defending shots and scoring off em. and nice throw, never saw it coming but the back points he gave u were ridiculous! i was on my back for 1 second or maybe 1 and a half lol. haha u excaped my craddle!! haha count urself lucky. if we meet in college it wont happen again!

In college Heflin would have gotten the backpoints and possibly pin from the cradle because they still would have been in bounds. Sweet blade by dong that shows some balls to hit that move when it really counts.

This may have been the most exciting match in the Div 1 finals, Dong Majored Heflin at Ironman or Medina ...Cant Remember. I think Dong may have taken Heflin for granted. 1 Move did Heflin in and if the cradle heflin hit was inbounds it was lights out for Dong !
