He wrestles for blair... which is in new jersey. ohh you are so ignorant. plus carson lost to silvestro and boyden.. kids beneath platt. all of the jersey 215 are very talented but not as good as platt. learn something.

i guarantee you the best pound for pound wrestler in the country is marcel dubose he could destroy anyone of the guys you people have been talking about dubose has been ranked #1 at 215 in the country and he is a 3 time mi state champ in prolly the 2nd toughest weight class in the state so if you really wanna see an amazing wrestler come and see him in the michigan state open next year

"Put anybody in the room with me and I'll take them"
"alot of people dont wana work out with me"
No one can beat me"

Can this rant be defined as cocky? Its so arrogant and stupid, I'm at a loss for words. Jared, calm that attitude. You were expected to win. The tournament is skipped by many of the best graduating sr's, including Gardener. If he had come, this interview would be very diffrent. It would be hard to make claims of olympic gold when your runner up at the jr f/s.

Great interview Jared. This kid is a great wrestler with a even bigger heart. He is a leader on and off the mat. I have personally seen him take several young wrestlers under his wing and try to guide them in the right direction. My son included. Thanks Jared , you will be missed at Blair!

Gardner is a better wrestler than Platt and that mental toughness that Platt has seems to be gone when he wrestles Gardner.

you're right. the #1 pound-for-pound wrestler in the country is ducking a guy he's beaten 6 times.
