maybe should of stayed retired or trained for a war. i think he took his competition too lightly. throwing shirts into the crowd after his first and second rounds at the olympic trials is sign of not taking the tournament seriously like he would walk thru everyone. which leads to believe he trained just enough as much he thought he needed. valiant effort but fell short.

Steve is one of the best wrestlers this country has ever had. No matter what he does the rest of his career. Lots of people talk a big games in life, Steve walks the walk. If have any doubt how good he is watch his highlight on youtube!

Abas messed his knee up in the beginning of the finals match, but wrestled the rest of the match anyways. He had to have surgery (3 I think) afterwards.

he had kicked that guys carcass just earlier that year. he may have overlooked that guys counter offense. Abas is the best regardless.
