you wrestled with balls but maybe you should of done more training and taking care of your body than reading, self serving interviews, and relying on past accomplishments. did he really put his heart into preparing to win like he did in 2004?

Why would Selma need Ralph Alvarado back? Even with Ralph back, Archie Sr. would still be around doing what he does. What difference do you think Ralph would actually make? Ralph was a coach not the President of Selma Youth.

Stephen and Gerry Abas have always been 2 of my favorite wrestlers. I truly enjoyed watching Stephen wrestle over the years....You are truly one of the greatest competitors that I have ever seen take to the mat!!! Maybe someone can answer this question. If you train for the Olympics your not in college anymore how do you get by on living expenses? Food clothing sleeping money to spend this kind of necesasity

Good commentary with alluding to Miyamoto Musashi, also someone Dave Schultz studied. Not to get too technical, but Musashi was a Shugyosha, not a Samurai(these guys answered to a Daimyo, Musashi did not).

Basically, a shugyosha was an apprentice to the way of the sword and was self-trained. This makes his accomplishments astounding. Age 13-30 he was 60-0 in battles to the death! He then became so good that for the next 30 years he defeated every opponent without killing them!
