Ben Bennett would beat both of these guys. Blanton is not that good, and Gambrall would not be able to get off his stomach.

In any style of wrestling, Gambrall is hit for stalling in the first. Blanton should have gone on his feet in the final period. On Chris Phillips, he loss to Ed Ruth last year, Ruth beat Blanton at Super 32, while Phillips is good, he would not major either of these wrestlers. Roddy came forward and made mistakes. He was beaten even worse by Hunter Collins from Cali. at Seniors.

phillips is the real deal. i seen him handle roddy and he was sick when he did it. there isnt anyone that chris phillips wouldnt put a clinic on. including gambrall. infact id go as far to say that phillips would major him. dont believe me, type in his state finals match or the roddy match and tell me what u think

You can say what you want about Gambrall. The kid may not be flashy but he absolutely gets the job done. I believe he has beaten the best there is. Every time someone says this person or that person will beat him , he proves you wrong. I believe Phillips is also a quality wrestler, however I don't believe there is a high school wrestler in the country that's going to put a clinic on Gambrall.

Ref's Potentially Dangerous calls were questionable at best. Chris Phillips would put on a takedown clinic with either of these guys.

i can't believe this happened. gambrall is not impressive at all. how in the world could this have been so close, and not have been in blanton's favor? unfortunately, blanton's huge ttankdidn't help against this stall rider.....

A little slow for action. Both wrestlers seemed sluggish, have they wrestled before? The bar arm didn't look potentially dangerous; I think IOwa could have turned the Illinois wrestler if he would have turned up the intensity and the ref let them wrestle. hua?

Why did Blanton cut him in the second. He was working him on top and looked like he could have casted the leg over and opened up his hips. Instead he gave him a free point and lost because of it. In big matches you can't give away points.
