As a former DI wrestler, who has not felt the pride of finishing a tough workout (like this one) and then hitting the rest of campus, knowing that on that day, you outworked nearly every human being that you will encounter?

Hats off to all of the programs who are pushing themselves with workouts like this one every day while weeding out the weak during early workouts!
That being said, I'd like to try this workout, but I can't seem to get all of the exercises and the order, despite watching it several times. Is there a breakdown (order of exercises) for this workout or one that is similar? I don't want to take the easy route an djust skip something.
And whowever said that they were glad that they are old and have paid their dues: AMEN! Here's to being old enough to remember the OLD weight classes, but still tough enough to complete the workouts (at least one or two of them)!

And AA Drouin but more than anything, ASU's kids will not at all come close to quitting that's for sure, so from that angle they'll be very competitive. Count on it.

ASU doesn't stand a chance against OSU with Zalesky. Except Robles. Because he's strong as hell.

And don't sleep Fullerton, Bakersfield, Poly, Stanford, Bake. All getting strong pretty quick. The coaching staffs at each school are getting stronger and stronger with each passing yr.

I can't believe they aren't sweating more than that. If I did that in 100+ heat, there would be a pool under my feet.

you are right Beav Fan. But why stop with PAc 10? Here is to all those teams raising the bar and having some Pac 10 teams come on strong nationally on a consistent basis.

Beaver Fan   September 2 at 11:15pm
pac 10 top 3 teams
1. Oregon State
2. Boise State
3. Arizona State

Shawn Charles is going to do great thing there. Just won't see it this year. Jimmy Z will make an impact with his team.

Boise is in the process of making a PAC 10 dynasty. maybe az could do it in a few years but not for a while.
Boise is doing good things, but I don't see the "dynasty" lasting much longer. ASU is coming on very strong. They are picking up blue chip recruits already and that staff will be turning out AA's and champs. Rumor is there are some other verbals ready to announce that will be huge for ASU. At least there will be some great competition in the pac 10.

I was always the guy in the best shape on my high school team and while I ended up not wrestling in college, I always thought I had what it took to at least be a backup on a D1 team. After watching this workout I'm realizing that I didn't have what it would have taken.

I can do that in one minute flat. I feel proud.
they already ran a 6 miler that morning and were doing the 400s in between nasty sets of a plate workout. Could you do it in less than 1 min after that?

That sounded like the time for the middle weights. I thought the lighter weights had to do it in :58.

these guys got it easy. we do the same exact but we dont have those nice handles. we have to use the big power cleaning weights that are thick and impossible to hold on to. that builds grip strength

Impressed!!!   September 2 at 11:45am
All you need is one plate and the guts to rep it out over and over and over.
Freakin' Robles bustin' out 400's on one wheel and crutches. This group has got guts. Some of those dudes will be 3rd or 4th string at their weight, but they were all giving it everything which will push the starters to the podium. If you got 40 crushing it every day, the top 10 will be awesome. Hats off to ASU wrestling. You all should be proud!

The second workout of hell week was a crazy plate workout that took place in 108 degree temperature. THis plate workout was mixed with some 400 meter sprints on the track.
