He is a great coach. I was so lucky to have had the opportunity to be at St. Ed's when Coach Hatta came on board with us. Being a lightweight, I wrestled with him almost daily, and I can honestly say he taught me probably more than any single person ever did. He is not only a role model on the mat, but off the mat.

Tadaaki beat my old high school coach Ernie Gillum in the NCAA finals back in 65 do you have any video of Ernie who is coaching in Pennsylvania now. Ernie was also Zeke Jones coach at Huron high, great guy.

Coach Hatta, do you have any recommendations for active wrestling clubs for an American male collegiate wrestler who is spending the summer in both Sagamihara and Tokyo? Thank you for any recommendations that you have. Marcia

I went from a subpar at takedowns to efficient with the teachings from a Hatta from one of his technique books. It's so scientific and easy to follow.

Tadaaki Hatta's father is the reason the nation of Japan has wrestling. Coach Hatta talks about the exchange trip for Judo and how the Hatta's brought back wrestling to Japan.
