that is a lot of weight for his size but bad form. it would be impressive if he was squatting 185lb. correctly. DEEP and parallel. It will benefit the wrestler in the long run to do it right. you will get more strength in, explosiveness, range of motion, and less wear and tare of the body. just do what your body allows you, push yourself but don't hurt yourself.

Knee's way out over toes, VERY bad for the knees. Not going to parallel COULD be to overload the core, but i doubt thats what they intend to do, just bad form and short ROM..aka cheating. Not tryin to be a dik just stating the truth.

CRITIC....GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE DEUCHBAGS AND GIVE THE KID SOME CREDIT INSTEAD OF HATING...WHY CANT WRESTLERS JUST GIVE EACH OTHER PRAISE AND ENCOURAGEMENT INSTEAD OF ACTING LIKE ANIMALS

its pathetic that the terrible form in weightlifting I see in high school doesnt actually change in college. theres a whole plethora of reasons why squatting high like that is terrible, not only for development of strength but for your knees and hips. wrestlers really need to find a good strength coach to teach them how to actually lift correctly rather than those knee bends were shown here.
