I think Dustin should go 165 next year and just enjoy his senior season without killing himself to make 157. I think he is plenty big and strong enough to handle collegiate 165 pounders. Heck, Mark Perry Jr. owned that weight class for a few years and he wasn't a big guy by any stretch of the imagination so I believe Dustin will do fine and have a much more enjoyable season not having to worry about weight cutting as much.

I assume he is coming down to 157 for his senior season. didn't really realize it until he mentioned the other guys being so much bigger that he is wrestling nearly 18 pounds heavier than Metcalf and about 14 pounds heavier than from his freshman thru junior years at Minny.

Glad to see him back on the path. I was afraid he had burned out. Have the same fear for Metcalf - the body needs time to recover and rebuild. it seems Metcalf is not allowing enough time to recover - but that is just an opinion from afar. Tomorrow will tell a lot in how he performs if he gets to face Paulson again. Tough road ahead and difficult odds with Paulson able to be fresh for the finals.
