You Guys need to get him into greco Where you can break contact if he is blind and that you can still compete at a high level.

This kid is going places. Ive seen his brother oliver at cba.....That kid was arguably the most fun to watch. He was fast and smooth.
Why didnt Anthony go to Cba?

this kid is awesome. GREAT attitude, great manners, and obviously plenty of skill if he is making parents mad enough to come up and try and get him to find a different sport. Anthony Ferrero is a WRESTLER! DEAL WITH IT! this guy seems like a great role model.

Anthony!!! You're an inspiration! Keep up the awesome work and keep your chin held high! So so so awesome! I'm showing this to the kids on my team who were all first yr wrestlers and endured a tough first yr. Got to let them know that with the hard work come the rewards and more great challenges to overcome! Flow, this is completely outstanding work! Be proud of this interview! It's a great great one.

Go Anthony!   May 25, 2009 at 5:52pm
If any of my team are to wrestle against Anthony, I'd make them practice with blindfolds.....all of them. They need to learn how to match wits with this smart wrestler. He certainly isn't in the dak about what is important. Thanks Joe for the interview. o Anthonly!!!

I actually wrestled with Anthony at rhino the dude is one of the best high school kids I have wrestled with in the room. His hand fighting is out of this world. I honestly would not be surprised if he makes some serious noise in the state.

In high school, Trevor Niks was officially blind on our team. DO not underestimate wrestlers with limited visibility or none at all. They "feel" their way to win the match.

Anthony Ferrero Wrestling In The Dark

Anthony Ferrero was born with little visibility. Between his first and second years of wrestling he made dramatic improvements to become a county champion. Here he talks about how he got involved with wrestling and some of the challenges that come with being blind on the mat.
