Agreed. Iowa wouldn't be anything if they only had recruits from the state of Iowa. They need to go out of state to get real talent. Sanderson will give the superior HS talent from the east a better opportunity.

It will be fun watching those Iowa weenies get their butts kicked after Sanderson has had time to turn PSU's program into a national championship team.

Cormier actually did a really could job wrestling Cael.

There will not be another Cael anytime soon. You simply can't learn to be smooth, fluid and athletic like he is. You are born with it. Couple that with an Iowa style work ethic and intense focus and you have a once in a generation athlete. In twenty or thirty years, when they talk about how the "new generation" of wrestlers is superior to previous decades...they will certainly be wrong if they compare anyone to this guy.

why not escape and takedown for cael at :39 ?

Wow, I almost didn't recognize Cormier. He used to be really fast before he got fat. I am really loving these old matches, they are tiding me over until the season starts.

i havent seen this match before, and wow, this match is sweet. really displays cael's abilities well.
