that was crazy that was really entertaning keep it up that was really good i hope you post another video with new stuff becouse the stuff you do is sweet keep it up!!!!!!!
its obv just for fun, why are people getting so mad? how many times do you hear austin refer to himself as the strongest kid ever? ill answer that zero. not only that he is disappointed in his rope thing, rather than bragging the first thing he says is that he didnt go all the way down. relax its all for fun. cant just be 100 percent serious wrestling all the time this sport needs personallity or it will die. good austin and good luck at lehigh

The poor quality frying pan hardly compares to what Denis Rogers does. He V'd the phone book rather than ripping it clean from top to bottom. A close up of the Playing Cards shows that they were the cheap ones you get at a Dollar Store.
Party tricks are fun BUT why is this being featured on FLO as legit?
Can we get Austin and Joe to arm wrestle? Also, why does Austin wear his shirt during all of these videos? My neighbor tried to roll a frying pan after seeing this video, and while he was strong and could fold it, he was shocked how Austin could roll it like a burrito. Crazy! It's funny to hear Joe chuckling in amazement at the end.
these are all standard strong man feats - see John Brookfield and his book "Mastery of Hand Strength" - John routinely breaks pliers by placing a bolt in the jaws and squeezing until the handles break and tears decks of cards in half (he holds the record of 100 decks in 2 mins 15 secs)
here he is with a 112 lb kettlebell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXivKOcDSnQ
For a high school kid regardless of the "quality" of the cards this not an easy feat and this does not translate to the ability bench press or squat - hand strength is a totally dfferent kind of strength

Austin is a very good kid.He is asset to the sport of wrestling.I'v only spoke to him once,But have watched him interact with others in a very pos.way.Ask anyone that has met him.

ur probably 5 foot tall and it doesnt matter what u lift its all about how strong your grip and wrestling strength is. if yo uare that strong and a good wreslte yo ushould def be a state champ then .. you think he's pretty good he only won states twice n pinned everyone on his way to those titles
ok nothing against this kid hope he has a positive future but im a sophmore i squat 435 power clean 245 and im a 140 pounder his lifting isnt that outrageous personaly but i've seen him wrestle be4 on video kids pretty good
If you had actually watch the scam video you would realize what this kid did was NOT A SCAM!! He used a real teflon pan just like the guy did.. NOT an aluminum pan..
The statement below was not written by Austin, and are not accurate.

I power clean around 315, squat 395, bench 305, and the most pullups i've ever done in a row is 36.

i have wrestled meys and i bench around 340 i dont really max i squat over 400 i dont power clean really but the point is meys is really strong. some kids are great weigh lifters but have no grip strength and basically are weak if you wrestle him. so regardless if there are tricks to the cards he is really strong especially his 3/4 really wrenched the neck. whoever phil visicaro is you look like ur on roids .
Austin....now those numbers are pretty damn impressive! 36 pullups is NUTS. 395 squat is pretty damn sick too. Power cleaning 315 is unheard of at your weight for a high school kid. I concede.....you might very well be the strongest!
Hes not cheating Visicaro ive seen him do these things in person there's no scam hes that strong sorry he doesnt need to be fake like you to prove it you look like something from Dragon Ball Z your pathetic.
I got one for him - climb the rope upside down - feet first - it can be done - I used to do it (of course that was 30 years ago, before I started farting dust). Coach J. Peckham used to be big on rope training...got my own rope - put it in a tree in the yard.....
Sick, that is all I can say, ABSOLUTELY FILTHY!!! So when Austin wrestles kids and say grabs a two on one, does he shatter their bones because it is only logical to assume that if he can rip through phone books and bend iron frying pans up, I would have to assume there a helluva lot of opponents of his out there walking around with surgically reconstructured forearms and wrists. And a better question: Hypothetically speaking, if Austin Powers collare ties a kid and crushes his neck killing the poor boob instantly during competition, would he be charged with second or third degree manslaughter? YOU GOTTA ASK THESE TOUGH QUESTIONS WHEN YOU WITNESS FILTH LIKE THIS!!!
Good work man impressive stuff, I'm guessing your a fan of the diesel crew with all their grip stuff. What are your numbers like in the weight room, just out of curiosity.
Wow said: Ill take 14 of him one for each weight. Where do I buy them??? The cards/pan were cool but I was most impressed with the rope climb. That takes control and strength. Really cool.
the 90 deggree hold is way harder. trust me. this guy is great.

I saw Gray Simons do the 90 degree trick when he was 40+ years old. Austin is not only super strong but a great athlete. How many 1 arm pullups can Austin do?
Austin Meys, who is getting ready to head off to Lehigh, shows us another set of his crusher series. This time he works over a frying pan, a couple of decks of cards, and hits the ropes. May 9, 2009

he is the strongest wrestler in highschool in the country
Like i said....watch the video's i posted below
the ropes thing wasnt too hard STILL AMAZINGLY STRONG though!
I believe everything that I read on the internet.
is he a state champ?
3 X NY State Champ, 2 X MOW, 1 X Cadet Freestyle Champ (Fargo)
SCAM SCHOOL VIDEO's....including the frying pan roll, the card rip, the phone book rip, etc.....and climbing two ropes is essentially the same as doing neutral grip pullups so anyone decent at pullups can do that rope trick try it and you will see.....
