Brought this move home 5 years ago after learning it at a tournament in Ohio.
Killed everyone with it the 1st year.
Was determined to be illegal with the chin.
Got so bad you couldn't even throw a front quarter without being penalized by the ref

I've seen a few guys do this in freestyle and even roll the other way (like cement mixer/twister). Grabbing the chin with a quater nelson in folkstyle is illegal though.

Interesting
looks like a ref might call you for pinning yourself though or you'll get reversed and get pinned...idk I think I'll test it out at conditioning

I have never seen this before. If this is the VARIATION, what does the traditional "Headpinch" look like? Is there a video? Is it known by another name?

Just work the quarter from here, instead of going under the chain. You got his head trapped on the mat, and just walk em' over, or do what he's doing roll through...

And if you miss the arm for the head pinch, but have the head and chin....throw a fireman's from that. Head Fireman's.

James Williamson Headpinch Variation

James Williamson demonstrates a variation from the front headpinch. This is a technique he learned from Mike Eierman. The technique was captured at a Team Nevada wrestling practice.
