god it was a pushout and an obvious one.......Watching pickerell wrestle quite a bit its definetely something he intended to do. You can tell also because houska was hip heisting away from him and he wasnt sucking him back in he was pushing him out. That you ignoramous is a pushout. Sayin houska was running out is such a joke! it was the right call pickerell cant wrestle on top he deserved to lose.

haha yoderr..
pretty suspenseful match to me... atleast it wasnt a blow out or something like scales' match. only thing is dont like is how matches in overtime can be decided like that. just like the clark v white match last year.. they need to wrestle it out and not let a stalling or technical decide who wins or loses

tyler obviously wins this match cuz no1 took a shot, and hes amazing on bottom and top

Tyler Houska is the best damn football player i've ever seen in my life. except for the fact that i just exaggerated. But he was the best player on his school's football team which i have heard was one bull #$%^ call away from a DII state championship. So if you people think this wrestling match had a bad call well then thats the way life is and there is no way to right the wrong by trashtalking highschool kids on teh internet. After the football game Tyler was upset but i never heard from him once anything dealing with how the reffs sucked saggy grandpa ballsack. SO BACK OFF

hell even the kid who wrestled heflin and got slammed twice would have been a better state champ even if did he fake being hurt to get the win.

Did you ever notice Houska wrestles to the caliber of wrestler he is up against-I've seen him kill guys a lot tougher than Pickerel. There are different ways to wrestle and Houska is defensive that's his style nothing wrong with it.

Pickerel said himself before the semis that he could not believe he even made it there! And Houska was predicted to win from the start so how is it so hard to believe that Houska won?? Numerous toledo families said that they don't even cheer for Pickerel because he is such a bad sport! And how about Pickerel's sister giving the finger to the Houska family, yep they have class! Get over yourselves, the better man won. Most of the people commenting on here don't even sound like they recieved a high school education!

the score shouldnt have been 2-1 because you even say ur self the take down was out of bounds.. come on get real get off this kids sack. and watch the match.. houska barely gets into a stance. let alone try to do anything but stall.

ive also heard highlands going to be d1 next year.. imagine that the year houska graduates is the last year for d2 and he finally gets a title. he wouldnt stand a chance against half of that d1 bracket.
same thing happened last year against fisher. he stalled and lost. i guess the 2nd times the charm. those refs were horrible... does houskas dad have money? lol
It may not be his favorite sport but the kid does work hard and never misses practice. So, tell us what your record is? right, like he has anything to do with going D1 - it has to do with school size and numbers not who you have! now your really looking dumb. Who does stand a chance against Scales? Defiantly not your buddy Dave!

that was definetely a pushout...Ive watched pickerell at cits, districts, and states and I think hes one of those kids that doesnt understand the rules. I saw him slam a kid at districts to get dq'ed. Ive seen him get numerous technical violations for cheap shotting after the whistle. He constantly wrestles the edge. Its just fitting that he loses the title on a technicality. Cause either he doesnt care or he really doesnt know the rules or whats going on.

Did you ever stop to think they could have been booing the refs or even Pickerel why do you assume it was Just Houska? Not everyone feels the way you do so speak for yourself. I called Houska's coach after reading these posts, Houska is strong in character and knows it was a fair match, end of story, no regrets and no nightmares of people booing.

to be honest with you i thought Pickerel handled the situation very well.
Perhaps he handled it better than he usually does. I have seen MANY matches end this way, there will always be a winner and a loser and someones fans will always be P.O. but there's no reason to blame it on Houska and call him a , He wasn't 46-0 because all the matches went his way, he is a good wrestler, give the kid some credit.
