Visicaro sucks. He sucks on bottom and he sucks on top. He made one move the entire 6 minutes. He never acheived an escape in the first period, it was a gift from cheating ref Lou Del Monte who never should have been officiating in the first place as he broke the rules when he took th is match. Lou also stopped the match for potentially dangers and stalemates when they weren't warranted. Lou also robbed Saulle of his takedown. Futhermore Visicaro was pinned in his quaterfinal match and he should have been the 5th seed not Broderick. A complete corrupt situation.

You are ABSOLUTELY wrong. In fact, you don't even need to bring a wrestler to the mat to score two points on a Merkle. You have no clue whatsover what you're talking about. Everything you said makes no sense at all. Even with your theory, which is wrong in its entirety, are you telling me that if you shoot a double leg, get behind the wrestler and that wrestlers falls to the ground for a moment that it's not a take down? See what a jackass you sound like. But that is neither here nor there, you don't don't to bring a wrestler down to the mat to score 2 with a merkle now shut your ass.

The merkle in question was not legit. Rule book states hands must support the weight of the wrestler in order for it to be a takedown. Hands hit the mat one at a time and tapped the mat back and forth. They did not support the weight in unison. No two sorry, read the rule book. Good call.

refs should have a meeting to understand that a merkle is 2 for a takedown no matter how long visicaro is on the mat

this jason dude sounds like a very angry person

and there is more than 1 ref which means that if saulle really did have control for the takedown and was fully inbound then the other ref would have argued the call.... but clearly he had absolutely no problem with the call

Visicaro broke the state takedown record with something like 250+ takedowns this year if i'm not mistaken. His opponents had to have had hundreds of escapes or let ups.

Had to add this to the state championships contest page....if this come from behind last minute win wasnt one of the best...i dunno what is. but yes, i am partial haha

The moment this kid walked in the HS wrestling room while he was still in Middle school I knew he could become a state champ one day. So happy LB YEAH!!!!

this was a good match. nick wrestled really good and i'm glad he won. i would of rather seen brodrick and visciaro in the finals. it would of been a really good match since both of them are back and forth. but that kid saulle loves to stall on top

Saulle looked gassed in the 3rd. I could see Visicro getting a few 3rd period takedowns as he's been known to do.
