Camp has a single that looks almost unstopable, but i will say this macintosh is a beast and i think he would beat this kid no doubt he would. Macintosh is way too big and never gets tired Mac Mancuso couldve won if he just pushed the match a little harder. Campalattano does'lt look so good when he stands up i don't think he'll escape from Macintosh, unless he cuts him. Camp is a good wrestler and he just proved it there.

Louie you do the seeding? What is the matter with you. You cant possibly agree with how they do it. IT is a damn shame how your guys so called system screws kids every year and then you congratulate each other on a job well done. Screw the 2 brackets and screw separeting same region placewinners and then you might have real outcomes. Right now all that matters is where your spot is. I have seen kids place 5th or 6th and never even beat a region champ in the whole tournament. It is a crock of $hit and you know it. There is no bonus to winning the region. There is no advantage to winning the region, you guys are ruining the tournament. You seem to have great enthusiasm for the sport! THEN HELP FIX THE CROCK OF $HIT SEEDING CRITERIA FOR STATES. Answer this question? Who gets higher seed? The year is 2009 and the weight class is 125, wrestler A took 5th at 103 in 2007 and wrestler B took 6th at 125 in 2008. By NJSIAA rules wrestler A gets higher seed. Now you cant tell me that isnt bull$hit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

his age has nothing to do with anything. he just turned 17 now and is wrestling seniors anyway so it makes no difference. when he just turned 16 before states last year he was wrestling seniors that were 18. stop talking about his age because it makes no difference

yes he took his opponent down but under stalling rules in the nhfs rule book states if a wrestler repeatedly uses the same move it can be considered stalling. I have watched this video five times and the official made the correct call. He made no attempt to breakdown his opponent and start a pinning manuver.

There are major differences between Campo and Grey. Campo as far as I'm told was held back to a hectic early life. He started wrestling late, I'm not sure of which year but It might be as late as 3rd grade. He wrestled an in upperclassman weight class his Freshman year without a ton of experience whereas Grey wrestled a Frosh weight class with years of wrestling under his belt. I'm not knocking Grey but this is how I see it.

well, whoever is 19 in high school and has that big of an advantage is just not fair for the rest of the kids. Also, it's bigger for camp because he has the potential to be a 4 time champ that's undefeated. Naturally he will get the most attention. I don't think it's fair if any kid is 19 and wrestling in high school. 19, that's really amazing to still be in high school, unless you failed. Nobody should be held back in kindergarten if they are already 5 years old, you should only be 4 if you want to held back.

What alot of you '"fans" don't realize is that Campo is the same as Grey. Grey was 18 on the first day of classes his senior year and Campo will be as well. Grey's b-day happens to be in May. Campo's b-day happens to be in January. So while Campo will be 19 coming into AC, Grey was 19 shortly after AC.

It is rare but it does happen. I grew up in PA and when my brother won his second state title he had just turned 17 during. He was a red-shirted his freshman year of college because he was still 17 and did not turn 18 until Oct. of that year.

Now this was 25 yrs ago but even then it still happened.

hahn would beat camp imo. Hahn was just on a different level that camp hasn't reached yet. Remember, camp just beat newman of toms river north 6-4 or 4-2 i can't remember where newman took him down in the match. Last year winston beat newman 10-3 and should have majored him. camp isn't there yet, but he's getting there. By 19, he should be good, of course, he would be college aged in high school, as are quite a few others, which is wrong.

camp is 17... and as for huntley blair has a thing where you have to be in the school for 2 years (i don't know the specifics) but since he entered as a senior he has to take a pg year. plus the fact he is a young senior, and if anyone has a chance to get the coaching from buxton for an extra year why not go for it.

Awesome match, Camp is amazing. I thought Mancuso was really going to pin him there for a couple of seconds, but Camp rebounded very nicely. No doubt in mind that he becomes New Jersey's first undefeated four time state champ, unless something catastrophic happens. Mancuso was the last line of defense, but Camp is just incredible in neutral and really controlled the match when both wrestlers were in neutral. Great match.

Camp is not that young. He is 17, that's only a year younger than when scott winston won his third state title at 18. Camp is a great wrestler, hard to imagine that he would be undefeated if he was a normal soph's age which is 15/16. It's not just him, there is quite a few other wrestlers that do it. Who graduates high school at 19 anyway, unless you failed? My friends and I were held back in kindergarten at 5 and we still graduated high school at 18. I know plenty of sophs in college that are 19, it just doesn't really make sense if you ask me.

There two guys don't have toooo many credentials, i guess...campo's only a dual-fargo champ in case in-state isn't good enough, and, you know, mancuso did win a state title.
