there were 2 seconds left when he started running but 0 seconds was one the clock when he did the flip and ya how would you feel if you just won the match that nobody gave the chance of u winning. winning against a brutal wrestler. and on top of that winning the national title

They might be robots but the wrestle TILL THE WHISLE and the for sure dont show up the other opponent after the match. HE didn't do a backfilp did he ??? How can you blame metcalf for going after him WHILE THERE WAS TIME ON THE CLOCK. Thats wrestling right?? should he have pushed him, no.. but i loved to see it because of how caldwell acted.... acted as if he had never won on a big stage before...

That was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope D Schlatter has a chance to give Metcalf a beatdown next year. He will not be remembered for being a great wrestler but a poor sport who knew the match was over long before he pushed caldwell. This is not the first time Caldwell has beat up on your boy and god willing it won't be the last. There was only four seconds left when they started from the down position. I am just sorry that puke didn't cost brands and his misfits hawkeyes the team title. That would of been hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah..you haters beat Metcalf...oh wait ya can't..I was going to say you'd probably want to do an f-ing backflip afterwards too!

Caldwell as you can see if you aren't an uneducated duecher..is a classy athlete. Rock on man!

No one said he didn't win the match outright. Most have been comments on his antics at the end. He is damn good, and will probably be better next year if he trains the full year and stays at 149. Having been to NJ, but not to Iowa, my response to ALoser below would be that Iowa will pick their corn while NJ waits in the unemployment line. Clean up stench!

looks like chance from that vh1 show. only reason why people cheered for him because he was against brent metcalf. It was really sad to see so many people booing the one person that is helping put wrestling in the mainstream.

Wrest4weary   March 21 at 11:17pm
Does anyone else remember the two injury timeouts for back pain and so that he could throw up? Then promptly followed that up with a cartwheel and backflip.... Hmmm. He's fast when he runs circles around the mat though, I'll give him that. He wrestled a great match tonight for about 5 1/2 minutes, but just wish he would have won gracefully.
