ohio wrestling is still great but it has declined in the last ten yrs or so. watching wrestling in the 1990- 1995 at the mentor meat grinder was amazing. that was a state tourny in its self!! from 103-to heavey weight brackets were stacked with kids going home crying that deserved to be wrestling in dayton and columbus. like to see someone post the brakeman reports from the early ninetys. the lighter weight classes were stacked from top to bottom like i have never seen before. few teams back then that were at mentor ( st eds, walsh j, maple hts, lorain southview, mayfield, eastlake notrh, st iggy, mentor. a coulple of those yrs they only took three i believe as well. take care wrestling fans
