it looks like gott's ganna be a big name for the rest of his highschool career
can't wait to watch him progress.

Not that it is an excuse, but McGill was sick the weekend of this tournament so that explains why he wasn't as aggressive and offensive as he usually is. Also, we should take into consideration that they did face eachother in a dual earlier in the year, a bout in which McGill dominated. Gott obviously remembered what moves McGill took him down with and was looking to defend them the whole time. Gott does have the much easier district, but I definitely think both will make it out. If McGill is healthy and on top of his game he can beat almost anyone. Finally, the call near the table is clearly a takedown. You can tell that the flowrestling poster barely moves, and McGill's feet were in by a good foot. Look for both of these guys to turn some heads at districts and state.

Gott is very good, especially as a sopre. However anyone who has followed these two would know that they have wrestled before and the ending was more lopsided in Mc Gill's favor.Gott may get into the big show in Columbus this year;he will be in a much easier District, should they meet again the results probably won't change.Andy was running a 102 fever and he still managed the win.As far as picking on a sophmore,Gott was good enough to defeat all but one senior.Give Jason another year he'll be a real contender, this isn't his year!McGill's much smoother and is ready for prime time...

Andy wrestled a very defensive match against Gott however he has a lot more moves than what he showed and I hear he may have been working on some stuff that he hasn't shown yet.

Don't know how you can bet against McGill, he's going to be one of the top four seeds at MP. Last year he was a small guy for his weight facing big guys like Jontonny and Nelisse. This year he has filled out and become one of the biggest and strongest kids at his weight.

McGill is so tough he beat a sopre 3-2 on a bad call on the edge of the mat. your big bad senior will easily get his at districts when he dont made it out!!!

McGill is easily the best 189 in this conference and showed it in the finals. Congrats Andy and I'll see you at states.
