why are you soo woorried what he is doing. how come you cant just congrats him and leave it at that?

do not rely on one person he started a trend of young wrestlers for america to believe in themselves and that is good enough.
he did it . while you watched from a coach eating potato chips or while you got female pregnant or while you got a baby injury.
Congrats Henry,
I hope that it really is "good enough", I gotta get some more chips, it makes my baby injury feel better. I only hope Henry isn't being manipulated by a fork tongued "educator" to make beautiful amounts of money.

Henry Cejudo is hardly unique. None of the Olympic champs chose to participate in this year's worlds, even though many of them are still young. Sometimes people just need time off; wrestling is no fun (and usually not too sucessful) for people who are burned out.

"life with a great potential to make money" "beautiful amounts of money" ladys and gentlemen watch out Don King just entered the building. If Henry sleeps better at night with a pillow case full of money rather than a world medal, fine! Money will come and go throughout a lifetime, but being the best in the world at something will stay with you forever.

and if you want to see him wrestle so bad, donate millions and millions to his organization or else shut your mouth he will do mma were he can transition his talent and make beutiful amounts of moneyy where it will take him years of years of clicnics like chertow to make a slim million working his ass off and not have a life (no offense to mr. chertow) but henry can make a millions off one fight and not years of clinics .......... so better that than wrestling

There's some seriously solid technique goin on here. I think these guy's styles make for a really good match. It would have been cool to have seen Cejudo wrestle Kudokhov in the olympic finals.

all your comments have been true. the way you said it was a lil distasteful but it was the truth. i agree w you 100% they win a gold or silver or even bronze and just stop bec well im not sure why but its a pure shame. Adam Wheller bronze and got to be a co police office. great for him to serve his community but come on really you going to go out like that. and Henry yeah wins gold do a small tour and sell a book but get back out there and win a world .. thats why the russians have turned the corner on us bec when they win they come back for another and another. we settle .. shame...

The people need to see what a beast this dude was and how he got better from JR to Senior Year. You could put them both on one video beause the final with Whipp was over in a blink. If you can't do either because of lack of action, give us the Noel Loban vs Dan Severn in the NCAA finals. Yes I am a heavyweight.
Only freestyle matches are posted here. If you want a collegiate match go to Throwback Thursdays.

Henry, stop the traveling circus and come back to wrestling. Your old foe has another World title and you're still "enjoying" yours a year later. You've got more talent than half the US freestyle team combined, but do you have the desire? I'd love to see you put it to this guy, but given the past year, I'd have to say he'd hammer you pretty good if you were to wrestle today.

Pretty sure Cejudo is 1-2 against Kudukhov. He beat him something like 10-5 in the fall of his senior year at NYAC, then lost two other times. Of course, as we all know, in their most important tournament together Henry won gold and Besik settled for bronze.

Craig Vitagliano   September 24 at 10:57pm
Some had requested this one. It's a great match with a lot of action and hand fighting.

Solid high C by Kudukhov in the first period with Cejudo trying to score with a front headlock throw but Kudukhov kept his hips down and when they came back up Cejudo attempted a double overhook throw to no avail.

Second period Kudukhov attempted the high c again but this time Cejudo scored 3 big points off the of the frontheadlock throw, To Kudukhov's credit he came out on top and slipped in a quick leg lace to turn Cejudo twice.

That was the difference in the match.

Regardless these two really know how to get after it and points get put up on the board.

Enjoy.
