It does appear to be a matchup issue...Caldwell is very talented and was able to convert a couple of key takedowns in the finals, two of them that Metcalf initiated and didn't/couldn't finish. I look forward to the next match between them...the question is, who will learn more from the previous meetings. You have to believe that Metcalf has better coaches and drill partners...Caldwell is doing it on skill alone...hats off to both of them.

They are both amazing wrestlers. They should have respect from all of us. What these guys do make wrestling what it is. Lets remember that they step out on the mat and we watch. Come on guys

yea thats why Caldwell beat Metcalfs coach to at Nationals. Metcalf sucks. all he does is gets in your face and he is aggressive. Caldwell tore metcalf up in NCAA'S and, oh yea, he pinned him with a spladle. Darrion is training for Worlds while Metcalf is home eating and praying that caldwell redshirts nexy year so he doesent get spanked again!

Thats what everybody was saying all year, those exact words, and even after DC beats him twice you still say Brents gonna beat him? just face it, DC has Brent Metcalfs number, he has a good style to match up against brent. DC will beat him again next year.
