i think notte was a lil tentative in this match. I was rooting for him all the way, but his offense wasn't like it usually is (then again dennis isnt 1st for nothing)...i think notte will turn it up and surprise people come national time! hes the hardest working guy i know...good luck cnott!!

Daniel Dennis looks like Kelly Leak from the Bad News Bears. I heard he drove away on his motor bike after the match and went to the baseball field to do doughnuts in the dirt while smoking a cigarette.

NOTTE   February 1 at 8:30am
Notte has excellent offense! only dennis has an even better first line defense (head and hands), notte needs a few more set ups for his high c and single and he will be a threat for the title.

How can anyone say anything negative about this match? If you do have a negative thought, then you're pathetic.
-Now, this was an outstanding match. Great for Dennis, as he is the #2 ranked wrestler in the country as of today and great for Notte who is in his first season in D1. That match could have gone either way. Also, Notte is a true junior, he never red-shirted.
-Great job to both guys and the best of luck in the NCAAs.

Slaton had problems with conditioning early in the season. You can look at his match in the Iowa ISU dual where he got worked. Dennis has stepped in and wrestled phenomenally. Until Dennis loses don't look for Slaton. However I have heard that Slaton's conditioning is back to what it should be so im sure he's pushing for his spot. Falck has an ankle sprain and I wouldn't expect the coaches to put him back out there until he is at 100% or when there is a match that he is highly favored in to bring him back into full matches.

What's with the junior high mat? Some kind of strategy by Smith? Three steps and they are out of bounds. Wish there was no out of bounds and ten minute matches!

The lack of Notte's offense is offensive to me. The only wrestling was on the edge of the mat and the officials refuse to make these matches anything other than a yawn fest.
