"Mr worthless $.02"

The only part of the post I actually agreed with.
Why do some people still act like Metcalf is some amateur out there on the mat? Anyone can be beaten, it's a fact everyone knows, but to beat Metcalf you have to become the better wrestler, not expose all of his "flaws." Please name a few of these many, many flaws you speak of in Metcalfs game.

Actually i watched an IN SEASON match with Metcalf vs Schlatter and Metcalf won in double OT in a rideout, but Schlatter had a TD that was clearly in time at the end of the 3rd that got waved off because they said time was out. Schlatter out wrestled him there, and then proved he should have won at senior nationals. Schlatter was better in High School but we will see how Metcalf finishes his college, to pass Dustin in that too.

Metcalf was like 228-0 in high school or something absurd like that and only lost to Schlatter in the Senior Nationals because of a stupid mistake to say hes beatable is true because everyone is beatable but VERY beatable is kind of an overstatement

This guy is very beatable and makes me wish I was still wrestling. He's been so dominating that wrestlers are now wrestling him with only the will to survive and not the drive to win. That was n absolutely atrocious match for a midland's quarters.
To beat Metcalf:
1. You have to have your conditioning in top peak level.
2. He's going to try and bully you - Don't back down. Push him back.
3. Don't wrestle his style. That sounds like a contradiction of (2) but it's not. Don't back down and push him back but continue to wrestle your own style. If you like to keep a good distance to set up then push him back, head slap, create space and work your technique. Too many guys are wrestling his style and trying to match him for intensity.
This guy can be beaten. Sorry. I mean't to say - This guy can be broken. It only takes 1 guy to expose this flaws and from there you will see that he's no Cael. I can think of countless 149 in past seasons who would've have given him a run for his money.

i really feel most wrestlers in this weight class wrestle metcalf just to not get tech falled rather than actually trying to beat him...well, of course they can't neway, but it's difficult to tech fall who keep standing on the edge of the mat so when they get taken down they'd b outa bounce or not let metcalf give the escape point by holding his leg without doing nething...well, it's metcalf so i understand but it's sooooo annoying to watch some wrestlers do that, like this w/e guy right here...
