After his coach said," You won that period Jonathon", I didn't hear him say anything else the rest of the match. After Perry turned him the first time, Becker knew he was beat.

Agreed. Chris Perry is in a class of his own. He gets to roll around on the mat with his brother and uncles. I doubt any of those guys get to see that skill level on a daily basis.

I saw Perry in this only HS loss at Yukon and the guy ran from him the entire match when Perry was a Freshman. Perry appears to be a good kid and he's never in a bad situation. OSU is going to be National Champs in a couple of years. Another good thing about Perry is every time you see him his father is there with him.

Perry is rather small at189 but it doesnt matter because he has so much talent, if he can build more muscle and wrestle at 84 in college he will win a NCAA title for sure

I think Perry is rather small, he should get bigger in college and still wrestle 184, he will be really tough

In addition, the quality of the wrestling is outstanding. These guys are much more advanced then we ever were. Congrats to each on their talent....

I wish we could comment without the silly names. I'm trying to get our H.S team on board with Flo and am having admin and parents look at Flo. What they may see is too much name calling. It may convince them to opt out of using this service. I do agree to the extend that in the old days we wrestled 6 minutes. No breaks for water or injury like today. Blood? Wipe it off and bet back to it. It's really lots of short skirmishes now interrupted by "potentially dangerous " stoppages. In between they get a nice drink of water. Wish it was like that in the dark ages.....
