Lanigan got lucky to even make it to the finals. This should have been a blowout, but things happen. Crazy inside trip! Good job, Tumlin.

Tumlin's the best 189 in the state, has been the past two years.

You don't even see most of the first period on this video! Tumlin had a takedown early in the first which was also called "out" ....so, the score would have been 5-3 with no OT. The right kid won - congrats Tumlin!

What?   March 11 at 9:07am
How is a Major Decision (dual) and a Fall in 1:05 (sectionals) almost beating someone?

Get a Clue.

If the takedown in OT was "clearly" in, and the wrestlers were right in front of the Brecksville coaches - then why didn't they question the refs or the table?

Because they were out - end of story.

lanigan is not a better wrestler than tumlin. He is very good but Tumlin is the top 189 in the state and has been for two years.

Lanigan was robbed. It's a shame it came down to a terrible call by the ref. Lanigan won, Tumlin should not be satisfied with that "win".

Anthony Magazine and Andrew Barr, grow up and stop posting your stupid comments.

That was the real Andrew Barr he thinks he can beat everyone in the wrestling room if he was the same weight as them except for lang...... he'd only loose by a point?

they were definently out an i think the refs are tained enough to no wats out an wats in so tumlin won fair and square and was just better than lannigan so get over it

After watching the match, it did seem he was in, but the momentum carried them out, sort of, I believe the ref called the whistle to early, let the guys go out if they are but these line calls with 3 points of the body in bounds is confusing the wrestlers and coaches, it has to be clear, use the Ncaa as your guide. It may be the only fair way to decide control.

This same ref blew a match of mine in high school 20+ years ago. He just thinks he has to be a part of the match. The NCAA should have there refs give a clilnic on how to be in a match but let the wrestlers decide it.

The refs probably made the call to finish the long night. It's understandable but very controversal.

They WERE out. The refs had a better view than you did. You surely can't tell from the mat level video.
