I couldn't have said it any better. If you don't like it don't watch it. Heldback, you are what wrestling doesn't need. Could you list some of your accomplishments?

I think all wrestlers should listen to what he said about not cutting weight, having fun, and have a passion for the sport. Awesome!

Even if he did get held back who cares, Im sure some of the other wrestlers were held back as well. Plus if he didnt get held back I'm sure he might not of even wresltled his freshman year because he would of been like 90 pounds.

He was held back for wrestling. That is a fact. He will lose this year. If he gets a lot bigger he will get crunched. 165 or 174 in college. LOL

David Taylor is an outstanding wrestler and a class act. It is easy to root for someone like Taylor. This kid is as humble as they come considering how good the kid is.

David Taylor, if you are reading this do not pay attention to these envious, jealous folks. Keep working hard and good luck in accomplishing your goals this year, in college, and in the future.

Heldback, sir, you are certainly misinformed. Friday, December 5 Mr. David Taylor celebrated his 18th birthday by weighing in for Ironman and wrestling his opening round matches. So tell me were you 17 when you graduated? Aren't people usually 18 when they graduate? If not please let me know.

Mr. "Heldback"

It's typical for people to talk smack about high school kids with an anonymous moniker. David Taylor has accomplished something no one else has ever done, yet you feel the need to try to bring him down with such an accomplishment.
I was 17 when I graduated from high school, but the holier-than-thou attitude you portray is what's wrong with the sport of wrestling. Rather than congratulate a fine young man on a great accomplishment, you seek to tarnish it.
You are a sad excuse for a wrestling fan ...

while it is impressive to win ironman 4x lets remember he won 103 as a redshirt freshman, 103 again as a redshirt sopre, 112 as a redshirt junior, and 135 as a redshirt senior. most kids his age would be wrestling in college by now. the first 3 ironman titles were at the lowest weights. just a fact.
