Good call on the standing reversal. You do not have to take the guy to the mat to receive a reversal. I thought that it was a nice flurry and Nickerson did a good job of riding tough to end the match.

I agree that he does not look 100%, but nationals are a long way away at this point anyway.

Not much offense here from Nickerson, but like someone else said, it is early in the year. His technique is just plain fun to watch.

Thumbs up to Haas for wrestling hard and wrestling tough.
By the way, horrible officiating at the end. That was NO takedown.

didnt really look like a reversal around 9:00, just an escape and then he hung on to the ankle and that was all

Troy did not look like himself but its still early and i think when the season is coming to a close he will have his form back and make a run to become a NCAA Champ

looked like nickerson took a page out of the jake varner playbook. He couldnt get a takedown against an unranked guy?

And TOM doesn't know where to put his apostrophie in the word doesn't. Nickerson did nothing on his feet. Nickerson may have been a former runner-up, but Escobedo is the reigning NCAA champ.
