#27	Mike Benson August 9 at 11:50am Hey thanks Hupp im trying man, the optional start was one of the biggest questions of that tournament i think what loebs coach was thinking is i would stop taking down and pick neutral because i looked tired, i actually wrestled him later at districts and i thiggerd he wold stop that 2 on 1 but he didnt and that was his down fall. still i talked to him later in the year and it sound like he gotten better and hes my weight again so cant wait to match up again against him! reply

#21	Hateblacks February 12 at 9:54am I am baffled as to how the kid in the white made it to the finals. This is some ugly wrestling. He rolled to his back multiple times, i cannot figure out why he wasnt caught. awful. reply
#20	Coach February 12 at 9:48am Kid needs to learn how to take someone down from the russian 2on1 or something else. that is straight up one of the worst russians i have seen in higher level wrestling. it's almost like watching a JV match. TAKE A SHOT or learn how to use that damn russian. reply

#18	Robo Momma February 11 at 10:43am I don't see Loeb as a better athlete. Period. I wasn't at the tournament, but he wasn't REALLY wrestling to win (Not like Benson was either). Some great scrambles, but neither guy really got after it like he wanted to win it and make a statement. Based on that approach, athleticism wins, hence Benson. And DiGiovanni's terrible call to go optional in OT didn't help Loeb's cause much. reply

#11	Anonymous Coward February 9 at 8:56pm I believe Coach DiGiovanni's coaching strategy at the end was to have Loeb start with an optional start and attack Benson as he hit his stand up. It was a good attempt, but Benson's speed and raw athleticism was too much. Both competitors wrestled great. reply

#3	Guy February 9 at 1:32pm Rules: 1 min sudden victory :30 ride :30 escape to win I did understand the strategy that Loeb had at the end. Maybe he figured he would try a move from the optional start because Benson was getting out of the bottom position easily. reply
