Demas did something really dumb in there first match we he cut Sulzer in tripple OT but in this match, after he scooted behind Sulzer hooked the back leg, he then looked right at the Ref and thats when the Ref called 2 and that was pretty smart.

your fukin stupid! sulzer was at the edge of the mat the whole time maybe if sulzer wrestled in the middle of the mat where your supposed to wrestle no one would be talking about a questionable call because demas would have at least majored him!!!! count how many times a shot is not finished by demas because they went out of bounds!!! maybe you should do your homework next time before making a dumbass statement like the one above

That was a mixed call it could have gone either way, people talking bout demas getting a lucky call is just stupid, maybe he did get lucky. but if you have wrestled then you know that things dont always go your way and you dont always get the call, so to be on here and going back an forth ing like little kids is uncalled for. If you have wrestled you know that one time in your wrestling career you didnt get that takedown call on the line, or you lost by 1 point cuz they didnt call stalling on the other guy. So dont talk about Demas because from what I saw it was a hard fought match for both wrestlers and both are very talented. One got lucky, its not the end of the world and goodluck to both wrestlers next year and at Nationals.

Anyone criticizing Demas should go ahead and wrestle him. If you beat him continue to criticize, until then, stop your jealous babblings.
What are you talking about, dumb ass? No ones criticizing anyone. This is a public forum where people can leave their opinions. They are saying it was a bad call. No ones taking personal shots at the kid. If you think the takedown was the correct call say so, but I haven't seen one person argue that it was, so goodluck with that one!

there should been a takedown at 1:08 refs miss calls all the time, sometimes you can leave it in their hands, but either way great match...

Fan Of Wrestling   March 9 at 5:26pm
Had Demas lost all of his fans would be calling foul also, saying he got robbed of the first takedown points and Sulzer stalled, hanging on the head and only shooting a few times compared to Demas. This is wrestling, they are both great wrestler's, heck they went into triple overtime the first time they wrestled and Sulzer won. Demas dropped down into the splits after Sulzer was in deep and and out scramble Sulzer to get the takedown. That's wrestling they are both great wrestler's and that's why I''m a fan of the sport.

If that was a takedown for Demas, then two things: Sulzer ended the period in the same position Demas was in when the takedown was awarded. He should haev had a reversal based on this officials criteria. Also, why no escape at the end? Clearly there was a loss of control.

I might add, that I was cheering for Demas. I wanted him to win, and picked him in my prediction bracket. I didn't want him to win by an incorrect call by the official though.

The call can get examined six different ways from Sunday. The fact is that the takedown was awarded and Josh still had to ride a very tough kid for 30 secs. They both deserve a lot of credit on two fantastic matches wrestled this season. I also want all of my guys to stop making comments on this page, you know who you are and its not what our program represents.
