That's cool dude. I gues the expected response for me would be something along the lines of, " you" or something of that humor. But regardless I'll just say good luck! Competition is better anyway.

P.S. Not that it would concern anyone but in that match (and coincidentally my other encounter with this kid) I was sick with a full blown case of mono, just gotten over tonselitis, and had just finished my fourth round of body draining diharrea for that day. And trust me my friend, more followed after the match. Maybe I should have in my white singlet? That would have been epic...

Allen knew that Fillingame would mess up their 130. so they saved themselves the embarassment and defaulted that match. they woul've gave up 6 points anyway.

haha wow thats real mature putting my name on the second one! yeah i remember when i was in second grade! if your so tough why dont you put your true name LOL and HEY! i bet you have never gone to state because thats not how a state qualifier would talk.. way to be mature and professional! im not going to post another thing on this after this comment because im not the immature high school kid who thinks hes cool! i doubt youll say your name now after i made you look like a helpless girl maybe you even wrestle like one! im guessing the maturity level of LOL and HEY are going to end up putting someone elses name since they have already done it to my name! kamerawn thomas smedley yeah thats my middle name

this wrestler from allen got smashed on by a CA wrestler at the southwest showdown. he only scored 4 points because the CA wrestler let him up 4 times
eden didn't get smashed? he did lose tho.
but lets also talk about the kids that got wrecked on from Sultana like...idk
103,112, and119 LeGrande, Trotter, and Gaines smashed them. so yeah it went both ways just to clear things up..

Peyton is just trying to get a workout in. He could have pinned Eden anytime he wanted. He just wanted it to be an exciting match and win in the last couple of seconds. Hes so good that he can control the match however he wants even when he is losing.

Strategery-ist   March 4 at 1:43pm
Yeah, my name is strategery. If Berstein had wrestled with any strategery, he would have easily won the match. He got the early takedown very easily. Heck, I say get 4 or 5 more takedowns then try to turn him. I also think the team race had an effect on the match. The only Allen was going to have a chance at winning the team title at this point , assuming Randall does not win any more matches which they eventually did anyway, was to get 2 pins and a tech fall out of their last three matches. Berstein looked desperate to try to secure turn and get a fall for the team title race, he and his coaches forgot that he still needed to win an individual title for his own personal glory. Yeah, it was bad strategery.

i am not taking away anything from burns i am just saying that the better wrestler did not win here. if you think having bernsteins number means getting taken down within the first 20 seconds... but congratulations to burns and westlake wrestling this weekend with a performance that exceeded expectations!

Andrew   March 2 at 11:19pm
okay i'll do the math

bernstein takes burns down = 2
burns works hard and gets a nice escape = 1
burns completely controls bernstein for the whole 2nd period = 0
bernstein completely controls burns for MOST of the 3rd period = 0
burns doesn't quit and reverses bernstein with few seconds left = 2 pts, the lead, and the right to call himself the 152 state champion
he earned it. congratulations.

As easily as Eden took him down in the first period and as difficult a time as he had turning him, I would have liked to see him keep the match on his feet. If he chooses neutral in the 2nd and gets the takedown he is up 4-1, or 4-2 if an escape is given up. Unfortunately the riding out/tryin to turn him with a 1 point lead bit him in the butt when he couldn't afford a late 2 point score. As a coach I always want my guys to have a 3 or 4 point lead heading into the 2nd period, 3 or 4 takedowns with escapes given.
