Bailey did the flip against that wrestler (Marcus Armato) because Armato and Bailey wrestled on the same time in HS (Oak Park). Bailey was having fun against his old/new teammate. I gotta tell you though that Armato is a very dedicated wrestler. He spent a couple years behind Bailey, Nay & etc but stuck it out and eventually made the varsity team. Armato works hard and I enjoyed watching him, Zach Bailey, Mac Bailey, Dylan Joiner & etc practice at Victory Academy, alot of fun to watch.

That's my opinion of the flip, Bailey having some fun.

awesome stuff: great to see cartwheels, takedowns with lifts, reverse body lifts. I think those 3 "little" things are underestimated and should be used more frequently in the practice room to improve strength, conditioning and atgleticism

No shot OU is top three in the country. They sure look a ton better then they have previous years but far from top 5. Should be exciting to see how much they improve this season!

Liking Quotes   October 21, 2008 at 5:28am
Coach has some memorable quotes....fight for position.....chest to chest.....lower your level. Good luck to all his guys. Really liked that you gave as much time as possible to the workout. P.S. Mr.TJX---a clue is to watch Flowrestling in the AM....get pumped....start being more active in your brain from the gitgo and then you'll be makilng better choices during the day. Not preaching. Just telling my experience.

I agree Chico, watching this video tonight made me want to finally get in shape too so I pushed aside the Cheetos and soda pop, put on my windsuit/running shoes, ran about 10 feet, nearly collapsed from exhaustion, and came back to my chips, soda pop, and my Flo Wrestling. I will just come to grips to where and who I am in this life, a big stiff.

Now I understand why we cannot compete well anymore on the international level and it all becomes clear after watching this awesome video, no disrespect intended. 90% of what we do in college training THESE DAYS does not bode well for freestyle rules, i.e. scrambling to the bitter end rolling across our backs over and over and over again. Having these scrambling positions engrained one million times before we finish folkstyle wrestle makes it nearly impossible to make the smooth transition to freestyle. Great for folkstyle but useless in freestyle. But what an AWESOME video! I think the aardvark has spotted David Armstrong! HERE'S A WASSUP FROM THE CLEVETOWN BOYS, GOOD LUCK DAVID!!!

Oklahoma Drill, Live, and Conditioning

Coach Spates puts his wrestlers through a practice composed of some drilling, some live with some situational wrestling, and a conditioning workout to end the practice.
