honestly im 14 n at the end of our club practice we wrestle three matches everyday and then our coach makes us climb ten ropes and do sprints n all tht stuff n thts every practice

How intense do you have to be in October?

Not even close to Iowa.

Many are comparing this Iowa State wrestling practice to the Iowa practice a week ago and commenting about intensity. The video heading said this was match day. The Cyclone wrestlers were going through complete matches while being filmed. The Hawkeyes looked to be engaged in 15 or 20 second goes. This could explain the intensity difference.

Are you kiddin...what was videoed is "vanilla" as it gets. This is a typical HS workout. ISU needs to watch the vids from last week...if they want to know what an intense workout really looks like.

This was awesome....sweet second song. Cael and Iowa state are quiet yet they are killers and we forget they got just as much a shot at this as Iowa. Keep low to the ground and make it happen Cyclones!

you guys are comparing two totally different practices. Nat Edwards is right. the Iowa guys could not keep that pace up for seven minutes. They were focusing on short blasts.

This practice obviously isn't as intense as IOWA's because there two different types of practices. ISU are doing full matches, and IOWA was doing short time situations. You can't expect the intensity to be the same.

is this really iowa state? their practice seems just like the practice of a good high school team, and there athletes are all good, but they look nothing like the iowa team we all saw last week..

It would kill anyone from iowa city to say anything remotely good about this video. But as an outsider I think both teams looked great and worked very hard. Two different types of practices. Iowa state is so classy.

More and more teams are wrestling practice matches in singlets. That is how you wrestle in tournaments and duals, it cant hurt to practice in them. Oh man they are tacky, I have not met many wrestlers who care what they look like while in practice. You better go do your hair and pick out your clothes for practice tomorrow dude, make sure and match.

you have to define intense, alot of people in this video could be more of a calmer, patient wrestler where as iowa just beats the heck out each other, its two different things entirely

Fun to watch the Long brothers wrestle eachother.

They are definitely going after it hard, but the intensity is so much higher in Iowa's room.
