Reporter? Hmmm: Discenting
Zeb: Rediculous

Zeb's mistake was a more common error, but Reporter? Hmmm's was a more difficult word to spell. It was not by any means a difficult word to spell, just more so than ridiculous.
I don't know who to believe.

"Rella's poor performance at university nationals"? Rella was an All-American at Univerisity Nationals. A lot of wrestlers wish they performed that poorly. The post was a childish cheap shot and should have been deleted. Funny how, even though he got a DUI, Rella handled himslef with class and character in his comments and took cheap shots at noone. He took responsibility for his actions. On the otherhand, some of these posters appear not to have the the same class and character.

Bush Vs Kerry   July 16, 2008 at 11:32pm
This tyrade between Zeb and ReportHMM is like when Bush accused Kerry of being un-American for protesting Vietnam War. A War he (Kerry) went to and fought honorably, and a war Bush avoided like the plague. Much like Kerry, Zeb should not be defending his love for wrestling (like Kerry defended his love for the USA) and reasons for doing things. We have an interview that should not even be an issue, its like the one guy (ReporterHMM) is a spin doctor putting everything back on the guy who has done nothing wrong, but try and help the sport of wrestling. This is nuts!

WOW! Zeb, you made the video and then you were the first to comment on it, sounds like I was right on with your reporter bias.

Then you resort to a discenting opinion(about your reporting) by calling out the screen name, I suppose reversedeath, or anonymus coward are ok in your book. I'm sure that will change when they disagree with you.
Funny, how wrestling is supposed to be a tough sport, yet can't handle a bit of criticism, football and basketball handle it all the time. I'm sure if he were a talented "baller" with the dui, you would be pointing to his transgressions as a reason wrestling is better.
What, and not addressing the issues that were brought up? BTW, I would gladly come do your job if you come do mine,

Drinking and driving is not a mistake, it is illegal. Moreso if you are underage. As long as you and the coaching community believe it's just a kids mistake then accountability and discipline will remain in hiatus.

Funny how US soldiers are called men and women no matter what age they serve(18+) but we still refer to wrestlers 20+ as kids.
And you wonder why we loose programs. Grow-up, be a man, and quit expecting people to count you as a kid when you violate the law.
BTW, I'm sure Pat Cummins and Bradley wish someone had disciplined their arses back at PSU>

Are you serious...im sure no other PSU wrestlers ever drinks. In this case he got caught and the other 30 wrestlers did not. 99% of all college wrestlers drink and some drive and it comes down to some getting caught and some dont. Move on dude eryone else has.

Interviewer, why would this make people stop asking questions?

Try giving an objective interview, not one in which you already made your mind up that he is a great kid and did nothing wrong, and that Penn State was wrong for calling it a dismissal. Their choice, man(not kid any more) gets dui, help him stay on the team, no wait, he wants to leave, let's dismiss him and the other guys not following the rules, their choice.
Certainly Rella is not the only PSU wrestler to have off-the-mat problems in state college, but to paint it as just wanting to head home(after getting in trouble) is not the whole story. University Nationals were only 3 weeks after NCAA's, and to be that drunk while driving, let's just say it isn't the first drinking incident, or should we believe that the first time he ever got drunk in his life was this incident?
By the way, HE DID NOT ASK FOR A RELEASE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SEASON, he asked for the release 2 to 3 weeks after the DUI, 5/6 weeks after the season. He spoke to the coaches after the season, but did not ask for a release at that time.
Rella is moving on, Good. Reach your potential at TOSU
PSU is moving on, Good. Fix the issues with the drinking/partying in Happy Valley.
Reporting one side of the story, with the in your face for those of you who have additional knowledge or may have other questions, not so Good.
Flo has potential to move the sport beyond the confines of wrestling, but has to improve the interviewing before that can happen.
