Man, this broke my damn heart. Akron has love for you Harry. You are a legend in Ohio and will always be a legend in my mind. I hope you can bounce back and continue to give to our sport. I remember watching you at St. V. at an open wrestling tournament when my older borther wrestled his first match, you were my age. You lost and threw your head gear at the bleachers. Then you went on to become one of the best wrestlers Ohio had ever seen. I have enjoyed watching you over the years man and sad to see you go. My heart goes out to you and your family and maybe one day we will see you on the mat again. God Bless brutha! One million ones

Great wrestler and great for the sport. Sorry to see him retire, but wrestling's tough on the body and the bank account. And "MNWRESTLING," you low-class moron, save your stupid comments. You make the rest of us from MN look bad by spouting off while using MN in your login name. (What have you accomplished, you dip?)
Anyway, good luck in the future Harry.

Mn Wrestling, that was a dumb comment. harry is one of usa's best wrestlers ever. Grow up cause you obviously do not know about wrestling.

To Mn Wrestling, grow up. It's people like you who are not needed in this sport. I guarantee you are some high school or college kid who hasn't even come close to accomplishing what Harry has, and then you rip him down for no reason. You really are pathetic. If you knew Harry personally you probably wouldn't be such a .

Harry it's been an absolute pleasure following your career. Your accomplishments in this sport will never be matched by about 90% of the wrestling out there of. They can only dream of competing at the level you have performed over the years. You will be used as a standard of how to train and compete for decades. Thank you for the many exciting seat gripping/wowing performances I ever had the pleasure of seeing. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. He got his handed to him by a 18 year old high school kid. And then cried like a baby. The better man won.

I think he said "go f*ck yourself," and i agree with him. You know nothing about Harry, he is one of the nicest people you could ever meet, in addition to being one of the greatest wrestlers our country has ever had. Go k*ll yourself

Whether you make retirement your final decision, or decide to come back, you have made wrestling a better sport. You'll make a fantastic coach if that's the route you chose to take.

Harry Lester. Kid's all around the nation have 1,000's of athletes to look up to because they're successful in the world of credentials. They "win" in other words. Kid's all around the nation have very few heros and men of cl to look up to. You're one of those. You're one of the few.
Stay in the sport, wrestling is better because their are people like you in it.

this is one of the saddest things I have seen in a long time. Hope he changes his mind at some point; great wrestler, great person, great for the sport.
