Langels stance just seems to be to high..
its like he invites a shot so he can defend it.
but it works for him. he has great hips and
is an incredable scrambler.. nice job Langel

Shoreconf, I'm not sure which Langel you are talking about but this Langel didn't place in states his sophomore or junior year.

Futrell easily has more skill. Langel is a great wrestler but it seems like he wrestled like a new kid would which threw Futrell off. great match though. good luck to the both of you in college.

Langel most likely will redshirt next year. As for the "how many times did langel place before he won it" he took 3rd sophomore year and 2nd last year and won this year...not to mention he won Super 32 and NJ States this year (and the kid who won beast of the east got beat by Langel in the Super 32 finals) so i'd say he could give any high schooler at least a good match

I don't agree, Taylor is awesome but Langel has some great technique mixed with some athleticism that would give Taylor fits. Throw Mango and Cox in the same bracket whoa that would be fun to watch !!!

Joey Langel is the real deal. Special Forces.
It will be some match with Fusco at the Rutgers room next year as they both fight for 25.

OK I will give ya that one for now. There is still a little bit of wrestling left in 08. But I would rank Taylor than Cox #2

Yeah! That was a funky match, and BJ's singlet was pretty tight. I liked it too! On the front, It read Twisters. That was his Kid level team out of Harvey Illinois. Those singlets are awesome!
