Mango was not ripped on a takedown, ther were times both wrestlers almost scored, there was two refs who officiated the match and neither thought as you ! I think the officiating was excellent on this match!!

Sunshine, Youre an idiot, it wasn't a Gillette ref when Tyler beat Shelstad he was actually from South Dakota and Cox doninated that match from the start and got caught doing a latteral drop, cudos to Shelstad for stopping one move the whole match ! How many National Champions did Flatthead have this year ?? NONE !!! Cox has beat every Montana wrestler he has ever faced in High school. Close doesn't cut it ! MEOW MEOW MEOW YOUR AN IDIOT! Funny, how many regard any state west of Iowa and east of California as subpar.

If you look at the past 5-6 years at the rocky mtn. area has produced numerous National champs from Fargo and other well known tournaments. Mustari,Yohn,Graff,Cox,Chamberlain, and Hall to name a few....

t, Wyoming has had several ALL Americans and if you figure it out per cap we are right up there with the bigger states some years. Jarred Hatley is another who has several All American performances ! Camel Kids of Gillette brought twelve kids to USA Nationals last year and had 3 champions and one third ?? Lets face it if your not east of the Mississippi you sometimes get over looked !!

Tyler Cox your fans are proud of you! I don't think you get all the accolades that you deserve. As it has already been mentioned Wyoming is not on the radar for many things, but this only goes to show how dedicated your are to the sport and your success. I'm am positive great things are to come for you in the future. The community is luck to have such a great role model. I have no doubt with his, and the many other wonderful coaches, Wyoming will be represented in force in the future.

I have never questioned his wrestling talent. In my opinion Tyler Cox does get respect. I was not aware that Gillete is a big wrestling town. Thanks for the info. He just seems to stand out being that Wyoming generally does not have many individuals that make big impact on the national scene like he does.

mikey j, lets face it, Wyoming is not nearly one of the top wrestling states. Apparently Cox has good coaching and I guess in a big wrestling town like you stated. Again, great future for Cox, he is really exciting to watch.

OOPS Tyler has now won 4 National Championships now ! To win those he has beat, Ryan Mango, David Taylor {won several national championships }, Andrew Long{signed with Iowa State}, and Gerald Germanie. Also got hosed in the Super 32 finals against Rappo{ranked #1 103 }

Wyoming is more of a wrestling state than you know we just dont get any respect ! Gillette is a big wrestling town. Jeff Wood from Gillette another 4x state champ nobody beat Napier in the finals in Iowa last year. David Taylor was from Wyoming before moving to Ohio,{Cox pinned him in the finals in Fargo 3 years ago} Cox shouldnt be a no name after winning 3 national tournaments but to many he is . He gets that way because he works hard and loves wrestling ! Dont forget Olympians David Zuniga, and Rulon Gardner are also from Wyoming !
