What I don't understand is how a kid this good could be held back. Is that a requirement @ SPG?

The commentator should learn wrestling. In the 2nd he says Baker is giving Felippe all he wants, lol for real. To correct him, out of bounds was giving Felippe all he wants...he had Baker taken down like 3 times out of bounds. Felippe dominated. Baker did not push him, kept it close by stalling

Everytime I watch jr high matches on here, he's this age. If its legal its legal quit whining. As far as saying a kid sucks, did you make it.I hope you are not a adult. If you are dont breed, because if you are you are the one I see hit your kid because you could of won that match. Kids look at there own match on here. (PATHETIC)

Yeah   March 21, 2008 at 12:02pm
Just cause the kid's good doesn't mean you have to sit here and FIND things to put him down for.
And yeah, I'd say it's possible for Felipe to have wrestled a couple kids, a few years ago, that are sophomores now.
WHY? Cause Felipe went to this same tournament when he was in SIXTH grade.
And the eighth graders he wrestled THEN would be sophmores NOW.
Good job Felipe.

It's sad that a person can put down a kid this way. My son is 15 in 8th grade, is truly not a scholar, got beat by Martinez. He is a superior wrestler. Congrats! and Good Luck next year at HS State when you beat all these crybabies

I cant believe that people are going to down a child who has worked hard on his accomplishments. Felipe is a very nice young man I got to talk with him and his coach at this tournament. This boy is 15 years old and yes in Ohio they have rules and check birth certificates for age verification. I know this because my son wrestled in this state tournament. Unfortunately he lost in this same weight class.

my sone wrestled felipe a couple of years ago and my son is a soph in high school. So i could have had my son repeat the same grade three times if i wanted to. Interesting rules you have in Ohio. I am pretty sure you cannot do that in PA
