Had the opportunity to coach C.J. in H.S. when he was living in N.Y. he was the hardest working kid I ever coached. Just wanted to say congratulations on all of your accomplishments! Keep it up C.J.
Does it matter? Cee Jay won regardless.. and proved that he is a two time national champ regardless! Yeah, Isaac Wall pinned his way through nationals because there was no one really on his level, and he gets away with his strength...but when Cee Jay and him met in the finals, he had his hands full. Hamilton moves faster, and is as strong as Wall, and very well coached. Plus he works hard and thats what he wanted. He wanted to wrestle wall to shut everyone else up about Wall being a badass ( which he is) How come Wall never took Hamilton down? Hamilton is just tough all around. I believe that this was the most anticipated match at nationals.

well j. miller when u take someone down legit takedown or not your hands have to break once u get it. how long have u been in this sport is it new to u.
Yeah, I thought that locking hands call was a little awkward. The match is over though... it's really no need to arque about a call the ref made. It's not gonna change the outcome anyway.
yeah, well that locked hands call was a load of bull also! how can you called locked hands after taking someone down to the mat( with a legit takedown) and have your hands locked around their LEGS...trying to work up to better position..and as far as fleeing goes...Wal was not working to improve on top and nor could ride hamilton at all. He basically couldnt score on top because hamilton was moving way too much on the bottom for him.
The unsportsmanlike conduct call against Isaac Wall in the 125 pound championship was absolutely the worst call of the tournament and cost Isaac the match. The official who made the call said Isaac pushed CJ off the mat. If you watch the video you can see very plainly that CJ was dragging Isaac behind him when he stumbled and fell off the mat. There was nothing unsportamanlike about it. I also don't understand why the second official didn't say appeal or discuss the call with the official who made the call, especially after he told Isaac that he realized that there was no push involved.
