QUOTE>>division 2 is definitly better than division 3. you have to look at the facts, you have your good kids in d3, but most matchups are won by division 2 when they go head to head. also, brett allgood, the 133lb champ in division 2 beat nathan morgan of oklahoma state last year, wrestling at 141. raymond dunning, 3rd at 133, majored james kennedy of illinois, a highly ranked division 1 wrestler. dlagnev, enough said...you just have to look at the overall facts that division
Sorry, I missed the point that you were simply indicating you thought d2 was better than d3. I actually that you were indicating that you thought the top d2 guys could actually compete with the top d1 guys when it really counted.. I really thought that you would be goofy enough to think that. I am sure you follow wrestling and understand that silly things happen once in 19 times. Hence Morgan (Nate) and James Kennedy losing to d2 guys. This time of the year that WOULD NOT happen but one in maybe 99 at all levels of weight classes. NEVER gonna happen between d2 and d1. MAYBE in d2 and d3 though. That is a closer barometer. sorry for not reading correctly.

You are a MORON if you think that that two points you made about Morgan and Kennedy hold water for D2 I know for a fact that Morgan had not been close to full strength in that one. Allgood is very good, not taking away from him. Kennedy I know had food poisoning, bruised ribs and was dehydrayted. He actually won another match before inj defaulting. I know he should not even wrestled that match. FACT!! those two matches take place NOW at the end of the season, Those d2 boys are in for ALOT of trouble!!! FACT!!!

i think overall ALL divisions are pretty even. EXCEPT for the elite athletes in each division obviously the all stars the schlatters, the metcalfs, the nickerson's etc. will end up at the top of d1 while d2 and d3 get less amazing athletes but still amazing none the less. Personally i gotta give the nod to AA's from D3 over D2...

DII is tougher than DIII. Of course there will always be the exception but overall DII AA's are better than DIII.

i wrestled d 2 at ashland university and the big reason why d 3 gets better kids is that they get the division 1 kids who couldn't meet academic requirements. d 3 doesn't have the same restrictions that division 1 and 2 have.... don't get me wrong d 2 is still very tough go eagles

I would think DII has way more talent than DIII. After all, D2 gives athletic scholarship and therefore can attract more talent than D3.

although they are both close, i have to give the nod to DII. More depth and better champs for the most part.

It is pretty even but I think that D3 edges D2. D3 has many more teams, thus much more depth than D2 but the champs are relatively even. If you are a collegiate champ in D2 or D3 you are "worth watching", but where was flo at the D3 nationals? I bet it was because it was the same weekend as all of the D1 conference tournaments.
