wow...terrible officiating...several bonehead calls that lead to the lesser wrestler winning. There is always the saying that if you do what you need to, you take the match out of the officials hands. That kid wrestled his arse off, and got robbed.

Curcio really won this match. It was a 4-2 swing it should have been 9 to 5 at the end of the first. And he wasnt stalling at the end he was trying to get wrist control. the croud just got into the refs head. Ant will be back this year.

Kirchner's road was just as tough as Morano's. He defeated Chalkley (32-0), 2x State Champion Trause and dominated and Pinned Jordan Beverlly who Morano beat in OT. Finally Kirchner defeated the top-seed in the finals. He earned it.

Kirchner and Morano had a tight match at Caldwell. The score was 7-4 when Kirchner went for a late throw and go caught on his back. It also shows how much Kirchner improved this season.

No PA Is JUNK   March 13, 2008 at 10:42pm
Pa and Ohio isn't better. You have more than one division for states. New Jersey has no double or triple A everyone is in the same. You can be from a school with 100 kids in it in NJ and wrestle someone from a school with 2000 in it in states. You are the absolute best in the state when you win the state hear. In Pa, theres more than one state champ which is garbage as well as Ohio. Pa and Ohio are very tough but its more of an accomplishment to win states in NJ.

NJ has the 2nd toughest tourney behind CA???? Are you serious????? PA and Ohio are and have been the best state tournaments in the country....NJ has a lot of talent but not the same depth as Ohio adn PA. Thats a fact....look at the three Div in college. PA and Ohio lead the contigency of AllAmericans by a boat load.

I had the pleasure of working with one of the greats Cael Sanderson and he basically told me. Well if i give up points trying to score i guess i might as well score more points. Great Match

i wrestled with jimmy for half the season and hes got the worst cauliflower ear. he isnt the most technical wrestler, but he uses alot of strength and scrambling. During the season, he lost to wrede and i didnt think he was going to get anywhere in states. but i guess he pulled out a miracle and did it. maybe the last two years he choked at states but you know what he is one of the nicest kids and he deserved the win.
