placing means nothing. andrew wrede took 8th and he teched walsh (2nd) and he beat fusco (3rd up a weight) and kirchner (champ up a weight)

does that mean hes worse cause he placed lower? no .. just a bad tourney

ha spataro took wat 8th hank took 1st yea way better wrestler i agree there were some take downs but hank still woulda worked and beat him this is states ppl they were doin the bare minium to get by yea right spataro is good but not any where near hanks caliber

Amen. Spectator in the stands that's what im saying it was unfair for Spataro, he should of won if the ref was doing his job correctly. Spataro is an awesome wrestler he will be just fine..

watching this match hands off these two boys are tough and both wanted that prize. I must say this, spataro did have two takedowns , that werent rewarded to him. Both boys have different styles of wrestling , both very talented but this just goes to show that two bad calls , and the lost of a match caused a toll on spataro's journey to becoming a state champ. i would deffinitely pay to see a rematch.

stinson kinda got lucky here... spataro had a takedown in the first and a takedown in the 3rd that he should have been awarded... but no doubt stinson is tough as hell, especially with that bearhug. he just outmanned all his opponents even in the finals.

stinson is 10x better then spataro watch the match. think about what your saying. open your eyes before you make dumb comments. stinson never should of been awarded the first takedown and spataro had full control with his feet in at the end of match and never awarded two. Spataro got pinned by hewitt because he had n0 heart left.

Spataro go tpinned by collin hewitt i didnt thnk he would make it to states. Hank is 10X better than spataro will ever be
