CA P 140 Machado Ching Oakdale V Martinez St.John Bosco

There was good action by both wrestlers. Martinez was active w/ some nice penetrating shots in the 1st. Ching was great in controlling Martinez, which made it seem as stalling on Martinez's part, hence the 1st stalling call. In the third, Martinez, like any other wrestler trying to win a tough match shut down early and Ching capitalized on it, taking it to overtime. This match played out well, luckily, but the ref almost blew it in favor of Ching when the ref almost didn't give Martinez the takedown in the 1st and in OT when he called both wrestlers out of bounds. Martinez was impressive in beating a smart and seasoned veteran like Ching and I think Ching was surprised as well. Have these two ever wrestled before? I would predict Ching the winner in a rematch.

mike is an amazing wrestler... how could you try and take ths victory away from him. even if he was stalling its the smart thing to do its part of wrestling.congrats mike

whoever left the comment below me need to relax. i guess they dont see all the reshots that i (yea this is martinez) took. i mean how could i be stalling and take the last wo shots of the match. im not taking anything away from ching, he's my hero and all, but dont u dare take anything away from me either.

Ching had this... fleeing and stalling once again not called on Martinez... throughout the 3 periods, refs seemingly gave all of the calls to Martinez, who do they (refs) think they are fooling?,look at the lower bracket, politics even at this level, hint, the college-bound boys where dad is a coach of 1 place winner won't have ANY influence in that room! signed; grandfather hahahahah

ran out of bounds (stall) early and then scrambled out a few times... ref needed to make the call! Ching would probably have won...
