K.Hall, you are a gentle beast. I enjoyed the times when you would come to kimball and practice. Congrats to you, Coach K and Coach Adolfo. Continue to believe in God and be the gentleman that you are. Best of luck from Coach Buck and myself.

First of all, Matt was an awesome opponent for us to get to wrestle for a state title. He methodically went through the tournament with quality wins over 3 great opponents. I watched him beat McGraw and knew we had the best kid to wrestle against on Saturday night. My plan was to try and hit him high and then shoot. He countered everything we had planned. When Keldrick wrestled the finals in regionals, he was slow in the 3rd. My plan was to condition to win in a possible overtime situation at state. We drilled for 2 weeks in situations like the one we were in in the state finals. It worked. Coach Brining had a big part in our success. But what means most to me are the comments like scorekeeper's. I work hard for my kids to develop character. When I receive e-mails from parents , coaches, and refs commenting on my kids character, I know I've done a good job. Dallas is ugly, but here's a gem I hope you enjoy!
Thank you,
Kelly Walker

Keldrick is such a fine young gentleman and a superb athlete whom I have had the pleasure of having in my English IV class. Watching him perform has been a delight for his teachers and the students at MHS. He's a courteous, respectable young man who has a very bright future in college sports as well as academics. I hope that he is given many scholarships to develop his God-given talents.

Score Keeper   February 28, 2008 at 6:49am
I was keeping score at that bout and when Keldrick Hall signed the bout sheet he looked up at me and said "I'm state champion" Like it had just sunk in. One of the best guys I met at the tournament. Congratulations again.
