Gardner is clearly better than Smith, which explains why he lost. *rolls eyes* They have different styles and Luke Smith's defense is better than Tanner Gardner's offense. Gardner couldn't take him down, didn't make an effort to ride him, and got put on his back for 3 when he started down.

What happened happened (no one got "cheated"), but it's clear that Gardner is the better wrestler (would win this match-up at least 7/10 times).
